Potomac, we need to talk. Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, “She Said, She Said,” turned Gizelle Bryant’s loose lips into the main event. By the end of the night, even her longtime co-pilot Robyn Dixon wasn’t riding with her.
Season 11 has been serving, and this episode showed exactly why fans are calling it a return to form. Here’s what went down.
The Podcast Comment That Never Aired
It started small. Ashley Darby told Robyn that Gizelle had said Robyn didn’t like her. Robyn denied ever saying it, and Gizelle admitted she had only assumed it.
Then things got bigger. Robyn revealed that Gizelle had teased on their podcast that listeners would learn more about Tia Glover’s home life in six months. Robyn said she cut the remark before it aired. Ashley later told Tia about it anyway.
Gizelle also had some cleaning up to do with Wendy Osefo, who had heard Gizelle called her a scammer. Gizelle apologized, and Wendy accepted. Wendy also explained why that word cuts deeper for her as a Nigerian woman.
Tia Draws Her Line
Everything came to a head at a birthday party for Alexis, husband of newcomer Courtney Ajinça. When Gizelle confronted Tia for repeating things to Wendy, Tia flipped it right back. She said Gizelle had talked about her marriage publicly without checking in first.
Tia made her position clear: “that kind of friendship, my dear, I don’t want it.” Robyn backed her up and confirmed she had removed the comment. Then the argument swung toward Ashley, and the room got loud. Karen Huger, as always, had the best line from the sidelines: “Just say I don’t remember!”
On a sweeter note, Stacey Rusch and Thiemo got engaged again. Love is still alive in Potomac.
Why it matters: Robyn breaking ranks with Gizelle changes the whole game. The Green-Eyed Bandit and her right hand have been a package deal for years. If Robyn is willing to call her out on camera, this season’s alliances are wide open, and Tia has officially arrived as a Housewife who won’t be talked about quietly.
