Hollywood’s next breakout star is having a moment, and he made time for the Juice. Joshua Suiter, who’s starring in two of the most talked-about series on TV right now, sat down with Jordan With The Juice during his Atlanta press run to promote Netflix’s A Different World and Hulu’s All’s Fair.
Back to Hillman: ‘A Different World’ Returns
Joshua stars in the A Different World revival, which premiered at #1 on Netflix. The new series follows the daughter of iconic couple Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert as she begins her freshman year at Hillman College. The revival also welcomes back beloved original cast members, including Kadeem Hardison, Jasmine Guy, Cree Summer and Darryl M. Bell, while original creative force Debbie Allen directs the premiere and serves as executive producer.
Season 2 of ‘All’s Fair’ Hits Hulu November 4
Joshua is also returning for Season 2 of Ryan Murphy’s star-studded legal dramedy All’s Fair, premiering November 4 on Hulu. He plays Elijah Greene, one of the triplet sons of Emerald Greene, played by Niecy Nash-Betts. The A-list ensemble includes Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts and Kim Kardashian. The show became Hulu’s most-watched scripted series debut in three years and quickly earned a reputation as a camp classic.
From Durham to Hollywood, by Way of an HBCU
A native of Durham, North Carolina, Joshua began acting in theater at just seven years old while also excelling in competitive sports throughout school. He went on to earn a BFA from North Carolina A&T State University, where he was named Mister North Carolina A&T and represented the university as a trophy presenter at the 94th Academy Awards. Fitting, then, that his breakout includes a return to the most famous fictional HBCU of all time.
With major roles in two high-profile series and a career gaining serious momentum, Joshua Suiter is a talent to watch. Watch his full interview with Jordan With The Juice in the video below!
