Dr. Wardrick is the founder of Push 2.0 Group, a technology developer specializing in luxury interactive NFC (near field communication) devices, smart utilities and digital storytelling activations. His products, including the Techlett luxury interactive bracelet, Digi Spikes, the Domino S3 and the Social Touch wearable wristlet and interactive nail, let people share contact info, portfolios and more with a single tap of a phone.

He’s been ahead of the curve for nearly two decades. He’s credited with developing one of the first magazine download cards for cell phones, and he helped bring interactive tech to Atlanta businesses, including a pharmacy in Peachtree Corners and Black Inc. tattoo studio in Buckhead. This summer, Push 2.0 Group turned the historic headquarters of The Atlanta Voice into a living digital museum with interactive NFC history walks at the inaugural Lemonade Social. Earlier this year, he was honored as a Male Ally at the Women’s Empowerment and Awards Brunch Gala for his STEM outreach and mentorship.

He plays Elijah Greene, one of the triplet sons of Emerald Greene, played by Niecy Nash-Betts. The A-list ensemble includes Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts and Kim Kardashian. The show became Hulu’s most-watched scripted series debut in three years and quickly earned a reputation as a camp classic.

From Durham to Hollywood, by Way of an HBCU

A native of Durham, North Carolina, Joshua began acting in theater at just seven years old while also excelling in competitive sports throughout school. He went on to earn a BFA from North Carolina A&T State University, where he was named Mister North Carolina A&T and represented the university as a trophy presenter at the 94th Academy Awards. Fitting, then, that his breakout includes a return to the most famous fictional HBCU of all time.

Atlanta’s creative scene got a taste of something distinctly different when hitmaker Bangladesh unveiled LOBSTER MANGO VUCCI at Buckhead Art & Company. The evening felt less like a traditional fashion presentation and more like stepping inside the mind of a producer translating his musical aesthetic into leather, art, color, and culture.

Best known for crafting some of hip-hop and R&B’s most recognizable records—including Ludacris’ “What’s Your Fantasy,” Lil Wayne’s “A Milli” and “6 Foot 7 Foot,” Beyoncé’s “Diva,” Kelis’ “Bossy,” and Mario’s “Break Up”—Bangladesh has built a production legacy around unconventional sounds, instantly recognizable rhythms, and bold creative choices.

That same fearless approach was evident throughout LOBSTER MANGO VUCCI.

The Collection

The leather collection immediately commands attention with a strong luxury-meets-streetwear aesthetic. Oversized leather jackets feature repeating LMV insignias, “LMV EST. 1978” 

typography, crest-like graphics, metallic embellishments, and hand-applied detailing that gives the pieces a customized, almost collectible quality.

The color story moves confidently from jet black and white to saturated red and electric yellow, with pieces designed to make an entrance rather than simply complete an outfit. One standout yellow leather jacket features embellished lettering and studded detailing, while the red version incorporates oversized script, metallic studs, and contrasting typography.

There is also plenty of texture: croco-inspired leather, snakeskin-inspired patterns, metallic finishes, oversized silhouettes, leather shorts, trousers, jackets, and statement outerwear. The black-and-white LOBSTER pullover brings a more collegiate, racing-inspired energy, while the patterned leather pieces push the collection further into contemporary luxury street fashion.

The collection’s strongest quality is its willingness to mix nostalgia with maximalism. It doesn’t feel overly polished or restrained—and that is precisely what makes it interesting. These are pieces designed for someone who wants their clothing to have a point of view.

Fashion Meets Art

The presentation also benefited from its surroundings. Contemporary artwork filled the gallery while the garments occupied the same visual space, creating a natural dialogue between fashion, visual art and music culture.

Even the accessories and sculptural elements contributed to the experience, including a striking green leather-covered mannequin installation that felt more like an art object than traditional retail merchandising.

And the collection clearly isn’t intended to be background wardrobe. LOBSTER MANGO VUCCI is statement dressing. The jackets, in particular, have the kind of visual identity that can become the centerpiece of an entire look.

From Producing Hits to Building a Fashion Language

What makes this reveal particularly compelling is Bangladesh’s transition from creating sounds that defined moments in popular culture to creating physical pieces that attempt to do the same thing.

There is an interesting parallel between his production career and the collection: the music is bold, recognizable and unconventional; the clothing follows the same formula.

“A Milli” became one of Lil Wayne’s defining records, while “6 Foot 7 Foot” reunited Bangladesh and Wayne for another major single. Bangladesh has also produced for artists including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Brandy, Alicia Keys and Ciara.

Now, with LOBSTER MANGO VUCCI, he is applying that same creative instinct to fashion.

The Atlanta Takeaway

With VIPs, tastemakers, artists, creatives and fashion insiders in attendance—including 2 Chainz, Nick Love, NuFace and others—the reveal felt appropriately positioned within Atlanta’s culture of music-driven fashion and entrepreneurship.

Cocktails by Villon, a Sovereign Brand, complemented the evening while guests moved through the gallery, explored the collection and took in the artwork.

LOBSTER MANGO VUCCI feels like a natural extension of Bangladesh’s creative DNA: bold, unapologetic, culturally influenced and built around making an impression.

If this Atlanta preview is any indication, Bangladesh isn’t simply putting his name on clothing—he’s beginning to build a fashion language of his own.
