The 80th Mayor’s Masked Ball, hosted on Dec. 21 at the Signia Hotel, raised nearly $4 million to support HBCUs and Black college students. Actor-comedian Anthony Anderson emceed the event, which brought together over 1,400 attendees, including Atlanta’s elite, national dignitaries, and cultural influencers.
Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens and UNCF President Dr. Michael Lomax welcomed guests such as Ambassador Andrew Young and Atlanta Voice CEO Janis Ware. The night featured a VIP reception, award presentations, and a show-stopping performance by Charlie Wilson, with an after-party capping off the festivities.
Dr. Lomax expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, marking the event as a highlight of UNCF’s 80th anniversary celebration.
