Born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Taja is very proud of her strong southern roots. However, growing up in a small town in the south, Taja was no stranger to racism and being made to feel less than. Dealing with her struggles growing up, only helped forge the strong independent woman she is today.
When Taja is not busy in front of the camera, teaching the next generation of actors or building her entrepreneurial empire, she likes to spend her time with family, working out and help build up those around her who support and love her.
