Dipset legend turned sports commentator Cam’ron is adding author to his already stacked resume. The Purple Hazerapper just locked in a $750,000 book deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster — one of the “Big Five” — putting his highly anticipated autobiography on track to possibly earn him an eight-figure payday when all is said and done.
Cam confirmed the news to Vibe, sharing, “I’m happy to have this deal done. Hopefully, the book will be released February of 2026, and that everyone can take something from my memoir when they read it.”
The Harlem icon has been on a serious roll. His unfiltered sports podcast It Is What It Is, co-hosted with childhood friend Mase, has been hailed as one of the best shows on the internet — even ranking No. 6 on Complex Sports’ list of top sports shows, right behind heavy hitters like Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith.
He’s also kept his rap fans fed with nostalgic freestyles on the podcast, dropped his independent film Is It A Crime (now streaming on Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and YouTube TV), and just last week, announced his brand new talk show Talk With Flee under a multi-million dollar deal with REVOLT, premiering later this month.
Cam’ron at 49 is proving the hustle never stops — from Harlem blocks to the bookshelves. Will you be copping his memoir? 🗽📚✨
