Yesterday, Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) concluded their “Week of Caring” with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Children’s) to bring comfort and joy to patients and their families. The week-long giveback initiative brought together over 250 MBUSA employee volunteers to participate in a variety of activities to brighten and uplift patients’ spirits. “Week of Caring” served as the MBUSA employee kick-off event to celebrate the recently announced multi-year partnership with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, specifically through the support of Arthur M. Blank Hospital. MBUSA is pleased to support a unique opportunity to provide new possibilities for generations of children to come.
To kick off the week, employee volunteers gathered at MBUSA headquarters to make no-sew blankets, which will provide comfort and warmth to patients and hospital visitors. Additionally, they crafted customized empowerment bracelets and delivered heartfelt, hand-written letters for patients and families in need of encouragement. Ending the week on a high note, MBUSA employee volunteers were on-site at Scottish Rite Hospital, serving breakfast to hospital patients and their families and hosting a love-themed patient party to spread positivity and excitement.
“Week of Caring,” which is part of MBUSA’s national corporate social responsibility mission, Driving Your Future, underscores the brand’s dedication to supporting and empowering the next generation and making a lasting and meaningful impact in communities in need.
