Russell Hornsby sat down with Miss. J to talk about his role as Charles Flenory on Starz’s newest hit series, “BMF”.
He shares how his previous roles in movies like “Fences” and “The Hate You Give” helped prepare him for this role.
“Honestly, it’s really given me an opportunity to get more in tune culturally with the work. Not being afraid to tell these black narratives, tell these black stories from our perspective and from an authentic place.”
