Houston-based award-winning rapper, Slim Thug is known for his hardcore rap lyrics that highlight his experiences, but today he released a single that caters to the ladies. Slim Thug whose real name is Stayve Thomas recorded “Black Queen” early February 2021 in honor of Black History Month and Valentine’s Day. The song acknowledges the dedication and love black women have for their black kings. “I wanted to do a song to celebrate black women and let them know that they will always have my heart”. Slim Thug also mentions that he is looking for his queen.

Brief Bio
Slim Thug is a rap veteran and native of Houston Texas. He got his start at the age of 17 where he became very active in the underground music industry. He has worked with artists such as Beyonce, Paul Wall, Gwen Stefani, Young Jeezy, Bun B, T.I, and more. In 2016, he opened a construction company along with his friends. In 2017, he gave away a house to a Hurricane Harvey victim. Through his non-profit, BossLife Foundation, he provides scholarships to those that are interested in trade schools and higher education.
