N’Style Atlanta caught up with scholar and HBCU Enthusiast, Dr. Melva Williams to discuss partnering with T.I to teach “The Business of Trap Music” at Clark Atlanta University.
Williams met T.I. at an event in New Orleans where he was speaking. From that moment on she knew he would be the perfect person to be her partner for the project. “Hearing him speak, his intellect. I knew at that moment he was the right one,” said Williams.
At this moment Williams is still uncertain on how the class will operate, if it will be virtual or in person due to the pandemic. “We are still on the works, getting the presentation ready for the course. But we will make sure students get the effectiveness of this class,” stated Williams. Williams expressed with gladness, “it’s going to be poppin. We are really excited about this course.”
