It was almost 4:00 pm. I figured we might have to reschedule our interview with Jessie Woo—because she’s a very busy woman these days, but then we hear a knock on the door. Just like that, Jessie entered the room with her warm and vibrant personality. Interviewing her was like having a conversation with your sister-friend. I literally laughed during each question. So, it was no surprise to learn that she does stand up. Some of you may have already known about her comedic talent—from her Instagram page. Or some of you may have seen her on Love and Hip Hop Miami—which doesn’t even touch the surface of who this talented young lady is. During our interview, we discussed current pop topics, how social media is used to assist with careers in media, and also some personal projects of hers. We talked about her new music, her upcoming stand up shows, Seester Talk Live—what she described as her personal ministry, and the latest project that she is involved with, Power Star Live—a new show on twitter produced by Will Packer. I also got the opportunity to learn things that I never knew about her. Like the fact that she not only has a journalism degree but a master’s degree in communication as well. Or the fact that she was involved in the youth ministry growing up. There is so much to learn about Jessie Woo. So, do yourself a favor and check out my interview with her.
