Beauty Tip Of The Week: Aztec Indian Healing Clay

2016-12-02 21:16:01 Administrator

OMG! I am absolutely in love with this clay. The Aztec Healing Clay is a product a ton of YouTubers have been recommending for quite some time. Well I finally bought a jar and I am impressed.

Fist, allow me to share some background info. I’m a total makeup junkie. And I also have a really bad habit of going to bed without washing it all off. I know, I know, but sometimes I’m just lazy. It is what it is. On top of that, over the past four years I’ve developed a bad case of seborrheic dermatitis which is basically really bad dandruff on your scalp and on your face. I’ve spent so much money with prescriptions from the dermatologist and nothing seems to work for long.

I found someone who recommended this clay to me and it was available at Whole Foods so I grabbed it. The instructions say to mix it with Apple Cider Vinegar and form a paste. Not only did I use it on my face but I tried it as a hair mask well.

As a face mask, it left my skin feeling very smooth! It’s been a long time since my skin felt so great. I also noticed that with my hair it was very clean, super soft, and there was no dandruff! If you suffer from dandruff or even just want to remove a ton of buildup from your skin and hair you have got to try this out!

marlonda currie™ Lip Treatments

2015-07-01 20:27:13 nstyle

Licensed Medical Aesthetician, Marlonda Currie, Launches Her Own Brand of Exclusive Lip Exfoliators and Lip Hydrator Products

marlonda currie™ lip treatments available exclusively online

Atlanta, Georgia, June 23, 2015 – Marlonda Currie, a licensed medical aesthetician and self-proclaimed “skin junkie” has her sights on a favorite body part: the lips. Though the cosmetics industry has the lipstick and lip gloss market well covered, Marlonda has struggled for years to find a decent lip scrub. “My husband is still reeling from my obsession to find a good lip scrub,” Marlonda explained. “I spent far too much money on products that didn’t measure up.”

Desperate for a way to exfoliate and hydrate her lips as she routinely did for the rest of her skin, Marlonda was up for the challenge. If the perfect lip scrubs and hydrators didn’t exist, she’d change that. In fact, her background as a licensed medical esthetician, coupled with an MBA degree, made transitioning into the role of product developer a natural choice.

“At the time, I had been immersed in the world of body sugaring, so I already knew the benefits of sugar scrubs and natural ingredients,” Marlonda said. “My goal was to create a gentle formula for the lips without chemical preservatives, dyes, or animal testing. It was crucial to me that my products be free of petroleum – unlike competing products on the market. No one is pickier than I am about skin care products.”

Though Marlonda faced her share of obstacles in developing The Lip Exfoliator® and The Lip Hydrator® and bringing them to market, she faced each one with certainty and determination. “These products are exactly as I had envisioned, and they’ve been met with rave reviews during our soft launch,” she said.

marlonda currie™ The Lip Exfoliator® comes in several tasty flavors: Peppermint, Brown Sugar, Vanilla Cream Bruelle, Strawberry, and Lemon. It’s a gentle lip scrub and lip conditioner containing organic sugar and rich oils to gently buff and condition lips.

marlonda currie™ The Lip Hydrator® should be used after the lip scrub and as needed to nourish, hydrate, and soften the lips. It contains organic ingredients including Shea butter, soybean wax, vitamin E, and various oils.

Where to Buy marlonda currie™ Lip Treatment Products

marlonda currie™ lip treatment products are available exclusively online at www.marlondacurrie.com which launches officially on June 24, 2015.

“Summer is here,” Marlonda said. “I want to help women look and feel their best with quality beauty products.”
